AGMAD TOOLS

Less weight. Your choice.

Make JPEG or WebP copies in your browser. Adjust quality, compare the actual file sizes and download the version that works for you.

Available · Version 1.0.0Free · No accountBrowser-local processing

JPEG, PNG or WebP. Up to 10 images, 20 MiB per file and 24 megapixels per decoded image.

JPEG removes transparency; transparent areas typically become black in this Canvas workflow. Choose WebP to retain alpha.

Choose images to begin.

Compress in three steps

  1. Choose JPEG, PNG or WebP images. Files are processed sequentially within the stated limits.
  2. Choose JPEG or WebP and a quality level from 30% to 100%. Start at 80%, then compare. This is an encoder setting, not a guaranteed visual-quality score.
  3. Select Compress images. Compare source and output sizes, inspect the preview and download each result. Change settings and run again to compare another version.

Smaller is not guaranteed

This tool keeps decoded pixel dimensions and re-encodes the whole image. An already optimized source can produce a larger output. The result reports the real byte sizes and flags when there is no saving. Lower quality can lose detail; 100% does not restore detail or guarantee lossless output.

Transparency, animation and metadata

JPEG has no alpha channel. This release preserves the legacy Canvas pipeline without adding a background fill. Use WebP for transparent images and inspect the result. Animated inputs export as one still frame. EXIF, color profiles and camera information are not promised to carry over; orientation and colors may vary by browser.

Limits and browser support

Empty, unsupported, corrupt or oversized files show an error. A constrained device may fail within these limits. If the browser cannot encode WebP, the tool reports an error instead of downloading a PNG with a misleading WebP extension. No server-upload fallback is used.

Release note

Version 1.0.0 extracts the legacy AGMAD compressor into an independent plugin. FileReader → Image decode → same-size Canvas → JPEG/WebP export is preserved, including JPEG default and 80% initial quality. Added explicit processing controls, bilingual feedback, limits, safe filenames and output-type checks.
