AGMAD TOOLS

Random. Local. Yours.

Generate a password inside your browser with Web Crypto. Choose the length and allowed characters, then copy the result.

Allowed character groups

Groups are allowed pools, not a promise that every selected group appears. No character group selected means no generation.

Choose options, then generate.

Choose options and generate

  1. Set a whole-number length from 6 to 128. The default is 16. Short lengths are available for compatibility and are not labelled strong.
  2. Select the allowed lowercase, uppercase, digit and symbol pools. Each character is sampled from their combined pool. Selected groups may not all appear in a particular result; check a destination’s specific requirements.
  3. Generate, then show or copy when needed. Changing length or group options clears the old result so it cannot be confused with a new configuration.

How randomness is used

Random bytes come from Web Crypto. Rejection sampling discards values that would bias character selection before mapping into the chosen pool. There is no Math.random fallback, server-generated password or strength-score claim. Random generation does not guarantee uniqueness across all users or immunity to compromise.

Character set and limits

Lowercase and uppercase use the 26 ASCII Latin letters, digits use 0–9, and symbols use the legacy set shown below. Arabic interface support does not add Arabic letters to generated passwords. Length counts these single-byte ASCII characters.

!@#$%^&*()-_=+[]{};:,.?/|

Copying and clearing

If clipboard access fails, the password is revealed and selected for manual copy, with a clear message. Hide it again when finished. Clear removes this page’s result and disables copy; it does not remove clipboard contents or copies made elsewhere. Store the result in your chosen password manager before leaving if you intend to use it.

Release note

Version 1.0.0 extracts the legacy AGMAD generator into an independent bilingual plugin. Web Crypto and the existing ASCII character sets are retained. Modulo selection is replaced with rejection sampling; empty selection and invalid lengths now show errors. Added masking, show/hide, clear, stale-result invalidation and clipboard error handling.
